I have just given my fish cucumber for the first time and they seem to be going for it but they look as though they are having trouble eating it. What am I doing wrong. Exactly what do you do with the cucumber. Do you have to slice it into thin slices or cut it into small pieces. Do you really have to boil it.

just get a bowl put some tap water in and the cucumber then put it in the microwave for about 3 mins. this will soften the cucumber up and make it easier for the fish to eat plus the cucumber should now sink to the bottom instead of floating. :D

oh yeah!
Thanks guys but nobody is telling me sliced or what? My fish are hungry!!!

Slice them as thinly as you can. That should be the best way to do that. Speaking of cucumber, I've got to go see if there's any in the freezer for the fish.

The idea here is... you are god, with a knife!! and you are turning vegitables into seawead.

Be one with the fruit.
There is no spoon.

There suggestions are correct.

Take out the uneaten stuff in the morning, Don't want it to rot.
