Cucumber And Zucchini

I buy zuccini on sale, cut it into quarters & freeze it. I nuke it in a cup of water for one minute, take out the seeds & feed them to my dog, who will eat anything. I use large stainless steel screws from the hardware store to weigh it down.

My fish prefer cucumber, raw. Never had much luck with zucchini. The guppies especially love it. I use one of my daughters butterfly hair clips which grab on.and sink to the bottom. A fork sounds like a good idea though, I'll give it a try.

Lol. I really must take more time over my reading - I first read this as saying you nuke the zucchini and feed it to your dog - I was wondering why it needed weighed down for the dog?!!! Doh!! Now I realise you meant you feed the seeds to your dog!!

Is zucchini what we call corgette over here? I've tried cucmber and corgette - the fish love both. I've seen most of them having a little pec at it but the Plec just hooks himself (or herself - not sure!) straight on!!

I put it in raw weighed down with the metal band thing from the plants.

My guys also like lettuce though I've had no luck with peas.
