Kricky crumbs chief thats a big kok

If anything the Cuban is the most dominant, the polleni and Cuban look amazing on black substrate but in my experience not as colourful on lighter substrates. Ivan at wharf Aquatics kept a champion Polleni for years if you want any info. also they have a couple that are approx 5-6 inch in stock at  the moment and plenty of juveniles..

Both are great fish!

In the sump tanks!! i saw them the other week, seemed like nice specimens, definately not the usual stock they sell.
I had the breeding pair of Nicaragua Cichlids out of that tank at Wharf, they have settled and coloured up great.
There is a lovely Male Polleni in the Aquatics shop in Bristol at the moment approx 5 inch and lovely coloration (again on black gravel) for £25, dont know if they deliver though and really aggressive, definitely a single specimen tank required!

Upload them to flickr then copy and paste the url.

Picked up 6 cubans yesterday...

I'll give it a go! I have bought some of the Vieja synspilum "Belize" F1 from Wharf, and have set them up  in a tank the Nicuaguans, A new project to keep me occupied. good luck with the Cubans, from MA? how much were they?

Yeah they're from Stapleton.

They weren't very well advertised and I don't think they were even labelled. MattLee told me they were there I rang on Thursday and spoke to James who said he would do me the 6 for £20. Should have been £27.

Seemingly have two (the biggest two) swimming together, flaring at each other and chasing the others away from one end in particular. Not reading too much into it atm, but fingers crossed. They're about 3" atm.

Good price, I like James, he has always been fair when I have had issues and knows his stuff. just a shame they don't do many oddballs.

Yeah it's pretty limited for stock. Some nice little gems hidden amongst the tanks though. James wasn't there when I collected them, but Malcolm was. Obliged my request to bag them individually and he chucked em in a poly box for me too. Also got two buckets from him. Ideal for water changes and transporting fish etc.

Quick picture of their tank... the water is still murky though.
