I have an opportunity to buy some of these although there isnt much info out there about them. Has anybody on the forum kept them.

I managed to scrape together enough information to justify the purchase here they are sorry about the mobile phone photo.

Nice!
If you don't mind me asking how much were these, I hear these are expensive as these are critically endangered.

They were £12 each from a Maidenhead Aquatics i was surprised to see them as well, as i also was under the impression they were endangered and there no reports of them breeding in home aquariums so im assuming they can breed at a trade level or there wild.

£12 :look:
I really hope they survive, as they are so delicate and expensive

They should be alright the key thing from the info on them is maintaining regular water changes little but often seems to be whats advised. Admittedly the info on them is a bit mixed and contradictory.

We had one of those for about a month, they are beautiful and spunky, but we couldnt keep them alive. Good Luck.

They are good to watch, there mouths are massive for there size. They are very friendly i thought they would be like my Chocolate Gourami's when i first brought them shy and reclusive but there the complete opposite. They constantly patrol the surface and come to the front when they notice you.
