Just bought some cryptocoryne aquatic plants and have a few questions.

How fast do they grow?
Are they hardy?
I was told they are okay in low light?

I dose fertiliser weekly and have some root tabs for it.

Answers are very much appreciated!

Thank you :D

There are more species of cryptocorne than most people think. I'm guessing that you have one of the common ones in the trade, which generally means that they're simple enough to grow in low tech tanks, and tend to the slower growing, but they could range from seriously big background plants to small foregrounders.

The commonest is probably wendetii, which has a couple of colour variants available and is a lovely slow growing low light plant.
