Cheers dude, it does indeed look great I actually love my Samoa sand now it is in my tank. (To the possible exasperation of my mentors) I am even thinking about taking out a whole heap of my florabase and having it as a bottom layer and covering the lot with Samoa !!! I have a few questions to ask of a few mates first.

Cheers Minnnt. Here are some pics, but is about to change as I have removed all but 2cm of the colombo florabase and its going to be covered with samoa sand. Just couldnt get on with it for planting. Was too light. Chatted with James Findlay @ TGM and he concurred with my opinion, but had enough integrity not to tell me that ADA was the only alternative. This time around I am doing what I just said, but next time I will be going with ADA aquasoil regular topped with powder. Its all a learning curve though
