I was wondering about a crayfish i got about a week ago. He about 3-4 in long and he came from a stream near my sisters apt in colorado. We got a goldfish to put in (he is the sme length) are these a good mix? Or will one go after the other?

A lot of crayfish are predatory and are capable of eating fish, do you know what type of crayfish it is that you have or how to look after it? What tank do you have it in/how many gallons is it?

though i have never kept coldwater Cray, i do know people who do. and in this setup its the Cray in danger! the choice would be yours, you will need a big'ish tank. say 30-40 imperial gallons, lots and lots of places for the Cray to hide and make the lid well secure. however i feel the Cray would become food for the goldie, might seem odd, but!

its 25gal with a whole bunch of rocks, etc in it.
yeh rocks and half plant pots make good and cheap hides. lol a trip to a charity shop can work out too:
