Crayfish/Mystery(Apple) Snail combo?

Just wondering if anyone here had ever tried combining these two? I currently have a crayfish, he is the only thing in his tennie. He has at least doubled in size since I got him, and I have read about not mixing fish and craws. Just wondering whether apple snails would be viewed as food, or should I just leave well enough alone? Thanks for any advice......

No takers?.......OK, how about a crayfish and any other type of snail, how about even a pond snail. Like I said, my craw is all by himself in his 10, I know better than to try fish. I don't think a crab or frog would do well, either, but seems like the snails may be a possibility...........
