I went to pick up my new tank earlier, and when I'd got it home I noticed some cracks in the bottom. They're not that big, the biggest is about 1.5 inches and they don't seem too deep, but I am worried....
It is a 2ftx1ftx1ft tank, made of glass. Should I put some sealant on it, or what? And will it be OK for sand, water and fish? I will add photos if I can.

Get some aquamium glass glue/sealant from your IFS ....follow the instructions which usually call it to sit for 24-48 hours..... Then I'd fill it with water and let it sit for a day or two and watch to see if its dripping..Good luck!

U say u "picked it up" so if you got it made for you, take it back and get them to fix it!

No, its second hand,I picked it up from the owner :) But silly me, they weren't cracks........ They were bits of sealent..... Doh! :*)
