Cracked Tank! Please Help!

I have a 75 gallon corner flow tank, it is not set up but the filter and everything is hooked up. The bottom of the tank has a CRACK on the bottom. I filled up the tank 3/4 with water and it dont not leek. Is there anything I can do or anything I can buy to fix the crack? I really don't want to buy a new tank, and if I do can someone tell me a cheap place online or in NY to get a new one.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aquarium Silicone may help. You can buy it at any LFS. Could you post a picture?
Is it near any of the corners or is it like directly on the bottom of the tank? You may have to get a new one, depending where it is on the bottom. As I would just not trust the crack on the bottom of a tank.

You can possibly get quarium safe silicone and patch it but the fact that the crack is on the bottom would concern me. All sides and the bottom would have equal water pressure but the bottom will be under a lot of weight with all the substrate.

How long have you had the tank? If you bought it brand new maybe get a free replacement from the store? Or the company even depending on the terms and how it broke.

I personally would replace the tank. As that sounds like that crack can not be trusted. I would hate to put gravel on the bottom and water, decor, fish only to have it break under pressure.

the tank was given to me and it is about 5 yrs old. It is made by all-glass aquariums

I'd take to it a sotre and have it replaced, or take it where you bought it from(if it was baought new) or if it has a warranty on it(like mine) get it replaced.. I as well wouldn't trust it to hold fish, rocks/sand, plants, decor, and fish....

wat do u mean a warranty, through the store you bought it at or the company who makes the tank

soemtimes where u buy the product they will give you a warranty on the item( if something happens to it they will let you return it for a new one..)....

A used 75 gallon is worth about $60, that is what I would buy or sell a used one for. Perfecto has a lifetime warranty, All-Glass is one year. Glasscages also sells cut pieces of glass, get some local prices, and compare their price. Glasscages will charge for the delivery, I can't see them charging much for a cut piece.

i believe the tank is 4 yrs old i just found out the 75 and up gallon tanks have a 5 yr warranty. Does it cover cracks?
