Just a quick update i have repaired the tank and have left the silcone dry for 48 hours now im filling it up to see if it will leak. The plan is to fill it right up and leave it for a week to see if it leaks.I have put silcone over the crack and then a plane of glass over the crack and then put siclone around the pane of glass.
Has you can see i have made the glass a lot wider than the crack to make up for pressure.Keep my fingers crossed that it will not leak.lso i know its ugly but there will be sand on top of it so will not be able to see it.
