I have a pest crab and am planning on using the old bottle cut in half with the top reversed and stuck back in method, but am a bit concerned about the other tank inhabitants, particularly my Goby. The reason for waiting rid of the crab is the fact that it's a danger to the other things in the tank, the last thing I want to do is force them to spend a night in half a bottle with it... Even without the crab, I'm sure it would really stress the Goby if it was caught in there.

Any hole big enough for the crab, the Goby will be able to fit into... what's the best thing to do?

Put several in, crack open a beer, sit back a watch for a couple hours and hope for a crab. if not take traps out and go to bed :good:

Without dismantling the rockstrucutre, it'd be very difficult, it's pretty jumpy, very quick and has plenty of places to hide.

I think the fish will just have to have an early night over the weekend and I'll go crabbing then.

Don't worry, should the hunt be successful I'll post pics of the prey here before it's stuffed and mounted on my living room wall
