I still have this fellow QT since last Tuesday night. That is a full 6 days.
I'm hoping it was just a superficial wound of some sort, I did add a piece of wood, or maybe some duel over the only damsel.
I have him in a gently filtered 2.5g with 25% water from his home tank and 75% treated tap water. Also, plenty of plants, some gravel, and a decoration heavily loaded with BB. I also did another water change just now after trying to feed him; there was excess uneaten food. Both his fins near the wound work together and I didn't notice swelling. Oh, I also put a quarter-sized piece of the Indian "betta" leaf to hopefully help heal.
I hate to isolate but I can't get over how far that white bump stuck out. Then disappeared leaving a red spot. Whate if it was a parasite or fungus? Maybe it will have healed some by tomorrow morning.
Any advice on if I should put him back with the others. I want to see him in his home tank again.
What of ot was/is a parasite?

Then his white "pimple" was gone right after I put him in QT. Here is the wound on Wednesday:
Thursday getting better:
I'll have to get a picture today when I get home.
Past couple days the wound has lightened.
He has been eating, a little at least.
There are plants and a dime size Ramshorn for company.
He gets 100% water change daily.
I am afraid to put him back.
What if he has parasites or something the other fish will get? Or the other male CPDs bully him? I just want him out of QT!!!
