Ok so I have 2 questions about my freshwater fish

So try largest clown loach I have is always hiding in a little rock cave I have and my smallers guy are mostly swimming around

My 2 bristle nose always hid with this clown loach any reason why if you need to know the brislte nose are babies.

And my gouramis or something else are making bubbles at the top of the water of my tank what does this mean?

And with this cave I can never see them so I am considering when I do my 20% water clean out I should maybe make a hole in the side of it so I can see if anything is happening is ample if they are dead or have fry

The gouramis making bubbles is how they breed - they fertilise the eggs, then put them into the bubbles for safe-keeping.

How many clown loach do you have?

Clown loaches and plecos do tend to hide a bit. How many clowns do you have? Is that the only cave in the tank? Providing lots of hiding places encourages fish to come out more as it makes them feel safe.

Your gourami is making a bubblenest which is where they put their eggs. Do you know the genders of yours? The males have a pointed dorsal fin and females have a rounded one.

I have heaps if hiding spots I have 5. And. I'm pretty sure I have 2 females 2 males

If you have a proper sized tank for them (6x2ft) then I'd recommend getting at least 3 more clown loaches, they're best in groups of 6 though 8-10 would be even better. HERE is more info on them.

The footprint of this tank, as mentioned in an earlier thread, is 2 feet by 1 foot. It is hardly suitable for a single loach, no less a school. They need to be rehomed as soon as possible.

Oh I see, disregard what I said then OP, I would definitely re-home your clown loaches or upgrade to a minimum of a 6x2ft ASAP :)
