Right I have a few questions about things in my tank.

1. On the back wall it looks like i have large grains of salt I scraped them off today and they are hard what are these???
2. I have an aiptasia between some polyps will joes juice harm the polyps? Also when ever I kill these I end up with more do I just need to persivere and keep on killing when ever they crop up?
3. When I turned the whites on today one of my hairy mushrooms was sort of inside out and formed a bubble looked weird but then it just opened up what happend here?

1. Might be barnicles forming... if it is then thats good :good:

2. Not sure if joes juice will hurt other polyps but I know if you just use some lemon juice in a syringe and stick the aipstasia with the needle and pump it with the lemon juice, that will kill it and shouldnt hurt anything else as far as I know

3. did you mean "lights" instead of whites? Cause many corals will let out tenticles or membranes to collect plankton or marine snow or whatever when it becomes dark so it may just be that if you meant lights

no the blue lights go on for an hour before the lights go on it was when i switched the whites on i noticed that the mushroom was inside out?

mushrooms close up at night or if they get disturbed, or arent happy

Yeah, I wouldn't worry bout the mushie, they look wierd at night. Those white things were mini featherdusters.

Mini feather dusters they were really hard and brilliant white?

Yup, if you look really close you'll see that white thing is actually their tube. It should spiral inward and at the edge you'll see a few tiny tentacles sticking out filter-feeding just like a bigger decorative FD

nope definatly not them they not relly round and there is a good 30 of them.

Edit sorry your right that will teach me for not looking properly so how come I have so many is that a good thing how did they get there and should I leave them and will they grow?

As long as conditions in your tank are optimal for their growth, they'll continue to grow. They dont get much bigger than what you scraped off though. Usually they go through a few blooms and then peter out
