Could You Make A Needle Wheel?

Still got my seaclone and was thinking if I could mod the impella to make a needle wheel? cuting it somehow, sort of thing? or somthing? well I do know

Beware playing with impellers, if they're not even and balaced, you can easily have some nice shredded low energy plastic

Even if you do make a needle wheel impellor you will still need to put air through it somehow. I'm not sure if different skimer types can be changed form one thing to another either.

many people have made needle wheels, but it usually involves making your own impellor and throwing out the old one. I have seen people have success with cutting up a bioball and making a needle wheel out of it and putting it in a maxijet 1200. You'll have to make your own venturi on the intake of the pump though

The venturi is NP Superman, you say you know of someone whos had succses with it? Any web sites?

I'm thinking of taking off the plastic impeller off the shafe a making my own out of ABS plastic block, will have a look at some needle wheels online to get a good idea of how to cut it out.
