Could This Work

hey i was just browsing sum tropical fish websites and sum guy there said he had a 29 gallon with the following fish

* 2 blue gouramis
* 4 tiger barbs
* 1 parrot fish
* 1 pleco
* 1 angelicus catfish
* 1 clown loach
* 1 red tailed shark
* 5 neons
* 2 tetras

is it possible that this large combination could work

i dont see how.


parrots, plecs and clown loaches all get 2 big for starters.

the RTBS needs more room....

not sure about the catfish.

it seems people do alot of stuff like that.

doesnt mean its right tho and the fish will suffer.


the parrot fish will eat anything small like the tetras anytime soon cos itll be getting big and thats jus the most obvious problem.

i dont kno wut that guy was thinking then i thought that i was really pushing the max of my 29 gallon with

2 gold gouramis
2 silver dollars
1 red tailed black shark
2 red wagtail platies
1 golden algae eater

and then i saw his list nd i was in shock

It's worth noting that people don't always tell the truth on the internet. I wouldn't take a list like that in a small tank at face value. While there is a chance it might work, it would be very unlikely, and not without exceptional maintenance.
