Hi all

Just bought a second hand 180l tank from my LFS, it came with a 200w heater and a fluval 2 plus filter which is only rated for a 60l tank. I have a spare fluval filter that is rated for a 120l lying around somewhere and was wondering if I would be able to use these 2 filters side by side until I can afford an upgrade or isn't that advisable?

Cheers
Andy

yh that will be fine just leave it like that 2 fillters is better coz then u always have a back up if 1 brakes and it will spread the fillteration out more

Try and get a circular currrent flowing with one pointed towards the front and opposite side at the back.

Yea, that would be even better then just 1 larger filter, especially if you put them at different locations in the tank.
