Hi all, i will be straight with you guys.

I have 20gallon tank, i have 2 mollies, 1 neon, and 4 zerba dino's (neon related) but i also want to breed red cherry shrimp, id like to start out slow, like 20 shrimps at first, and then have them breed to about 200 or so...

what do u expects say ; )

could i keep or breed them with the current fishes that i have? iv read that its okay only if the fishs dont eat the shrimp n usually if the shrimps dont fit in the mouth then i'll b safe but just wantd to see what you guys thought,

thanks in advance

If you want to breed serious amounts (200+) then I would say get a new tank. It doent have to be that large (50Litres can hold around 200 if you maintain it well).

noo not series like to sell them or anything, just for my own pleasure, would this still b okay? or is it highly disadviced ; (

Adult mollies will be large enough to eat some baby shrimp, and the daino's your actively hunt any down too.

Yes sort of. It dose depends on the temperament of the fish as well. While some fish may not eat a shrimp, another of the same species will actively hunt them.
Mollies are less likely to eat them than danios. That all. Could never say if they would eat them all or not.

I keep guppies and wild platies with some of my cherries, and the thrive together, however I have seen 1 female eating shrimp now and then, only 3-4 time in 6 months but it just depends on that fish!

ohh i see, wow great info, i was going to get rid of the daino's either way so maybe they stand a chance, i'll buy 10 red cherrys and see they do in there ; )

any other advice u could offer me since you have the best of both worlds lol

how big is ur tank, how many cherrys do u have and how many fishs do u have with them

I've got a 2ft x 12 x 15 with 15 adult guppies plus fry. Couple of whiptails and a couple of oto's

I started out with 15 shrimp and a couple of SS CRS as they don't cross breed. CRS not breeding, but the cherries always have eggs and when i put in some courgette that fight with the whiptails over it :)
