I have a 20 gallon planted tank with heavy filtration. I currently have one dwarf gourami, 5 platies and three albino cories. Could I fit any more? I do two water changes a week.

Is the tank a 20 long or 20 high? Either way I'd say you should be able to up their numbers to at least 6 total, but you could add even more if you have the ground space of a 20 long.

The tank is almost a cube, but it's about 2 cm. taller than it is long.

It sounds like a 20 high, which is fine for at least 6-10 Corys depending on what kind you have/get.

how long the cories will live if I keep them well?

back in the day i had an albino cory live about 2 years. I took the tank down and went to saltwater so I gave him away so I dont know how much longer he actually lived.

as others have said, you should be good with atleast 3 more. I have 6 (3 leopards and 3 emeralds) in my 29 gallon and considered adding 2 more. I love watching them..i'd have a tank of just corys if I could.
