i have one peppered and one panda cory, firstly can they bemixed so they keep together? will they keep each other company or do i need more of each?

In general they prefer they're own kind for company in groups of at least 3-4 but more is better but I have a single peppered who seems to be just as happy on his own (his friends died).and hanging around with the sterbai and three line.

Thanks for reply, think i might get another one of each 2moro dont want them lonely

Since I saw you are planning to get 15 G and don't know what to put it yet. I will suggest get more Panda Corys so they are 6 of them or more. And move them there. I have been keeping the Panda Corys and I have many off spring from them and I notice that they prefer the cooler water with high oxygen with some water current. I have my breeding group of 4(I bought 6 initially but 2 passed away) and 40~50 frys in 5G however I have HOB and high powered power head with sponge on the inlet. And they are kept without heater. Even after the heat from the lighting, I know the water stay around low 70's to high 60's F. And they give eggs every 4~5days. And they really like to swim against the water current.
Anyway, I strongly believe that Panda Corys prefer lower temperature than most other community fish. After all, they are from base of the liver in high mountain area so I read. There are more record of my Panda in my thread.
Anyway, I hope you consider this and I'm sure they would be much happier and most likely they would give you some eggs when they mature, of course if there are both sex present. :good:
