hey,

can i keep corys with guppies and if so whats the basic info, i saw a pic of one today and fell in love with them

also are they easy to breed or not

Thanks

Corys are quite easy to breed. I don't see any problem with guppies and cories as I believe quite a few members have had these combos problem free. The easiest corys to breed are the Peppered Cory, Bronze Cory and Albino Bronze Cory. These do large spawns of eggs and spawn regularly.

ok thanks for the tips

would you know any good sites about these b-e-a utiful fish lol :D

Hi Guppyboy_12 :)

Corys do well with guppies or any other small and peaceful fish. The C. aeneus bronze or albino are not difficult to keep and are even apt to spawn for you when they are mature, but you will want to set up a separate tank to raise the fry in. They are much smaller than even newborn guppy fry and need very clean water to thrive and grow. :D

Here's a link to Planet Catfish. If you click on Cat-eLog, then genus thumbnails, then scroll down to Callichthyidae and click on Corydoras spp., you will get to a page that shows pictures of a great many cory species. Some of them are beautiful, but many of them are also quite rare and hard to find. I'm sure you will enjoy looking at them.
