hey all

i was wondering if Pygmy/dwarf corys could be kept in slighlty cooler water, around 23-24 degrees celcius.

as i want some white clouds and pygmies in my 10 gallon, and i though i could maybe lower the temp a bit for the white clouds benefit, and sort of have it as an average of the 2 temps.

so would cories and also white clouds be ok in water around 23 - 24 degrees?

thanks sean.

According to my books, C. pygmaeus and hastatus minimum temperature is 24C, but habrosus can go down to 21C. Habrosus seems to be the more popular pygmy cory on the forum, and they'd probably be the best choice. White clouds are cooler water fish and for them, the tank is still warm, but they're ok at tropical temperatures, 24 should be just fine.
