According to peteduction.com, "Remove all fry after they have become waterborne and feed with baby brine shrimp." They didn't say anything about removing the parents. Don't know if that means you should.... If all the fish in your sig are in the same tank, I doubt the eggs will make it unless you remove them.

cheers harried

no they are pond fish and i no longer have the pirahana

all thats in the tank is 6 danios and 2 corys
i just added them last week to cycle the new tank

cheers

Hey Macky - I had hoped someone more knowledgeable would have come to your rescue, but here's my advice for what its worth... As danios are omnivorous, they would very likely consume the eggs if given the chance. If you have a second tank, I'd put the plant in there with some of the water from the original tank and no bottom substrate. If you don't have a second tank, you might try putting a divider in the tank until you see whether the eggs will develop or not. If they hatch (or before), I would definitely move them as they will be a tasty treat for all.

Good luck!

Hi macky1 :)

Yes, you will have to remove the plant with the eggs if you want to save them from being eaten.

If you'd like to raise them, however, it's not hard to do. I'll be happy to help you.

What kind of corys are they and how big is the tank, etc. How far along is it in the cycling process?
