corys in 5 gallon

Bioload-wise, it will be ok, but anything less than 10g is very difficult to stablize. Personally, I only use 5g for either breeding or hospital tanks...

The answer to your question would depend on the kind of cory you have in mind and the number of other fish in the tank with them. :nod:

If you select a regular size cory such as the C. aeneus (bronze or albino), C. paleatus (peppered cory) C. sterbai, C. trilineatus or C. Julii, you would be alright with 3 of them provided your tank was cycled already and you do weekly water changes and gravel cleaning, and there were no other fish in the tank.

If you want to have more than three corys, I suggest you look for smaller corys such as C. pandas or the dwarf corys C. habrosus, C. hastatus or C. pygmaeus.
