I looked through all the planet catfish thumbnails of corys and the closest ones that mine resemble are Leucomelas, but mine have black all over their faces instead of just a line over the eyes and the black line that runs from the dorsal doesn't stop until it's almost at their bellies, instead of stopping a little past the edge of the fin like the Leucomelas. I never really gave it much thought before, but now I really want to know what I have.

No. :( I don't have a digital (or regular for that matter -_- ) camera, so I'm pretty much stuck with using words, unless you don't mind a horrible drawing from my paint program?

Crap, I can't figure out how to post it.

Hi NinjaSmurf :)

Sometimes the difference in markings between one species of cory and another is small. Take a look at this link that compares some of the spotted corys and see if it will help you:

Nope. :dunno: I don't get it, they almost look like the Schwartzi, but mine have black that comes down a lot further than in the photos, and their dorsal fins are almost entirely black. Not to mention the dots are smaller and they also kinda have stripes going up and down with dots running horizontally in the middle. And they haven't really gotten any bigger since I got them, they're about this long

------------ and I bought them in June.

Damn it!!! I though I found a way to post the drawing but it just kept showing this post instead!

Ok, I'm really dumb, I can't figure out how to attach it to your email...

This is when I hate computers and my lack of knowledge about them!
