God I wish I could afford a tank like that

My dad is paying for it :p

He wanted to say thanks for looking after him (i'm also his carer) and towards my birthday next month :)

Aww that's lovely of him - really sweet :D

I know he's fab - and after all the years of wanting a bigger tank :)

Plus got discount code out of PFK mag and ended saving him a further £57 on the tank :) :good:

Good news...Tank will be here on Monday :hyper: my day off...so i need to clear the space in the kitchen, atm it has the 20 gals on the table, so need to part drain it to move it,to get the table & chairs out, which dont get used anyway

Then hopefully once the new one is set up and running i will start moving everything across from the 55 gals, i've decided to keep my 4 footer and divide it to use in an attempt to have breeding corys and fry in there... good intentions...we'll see

So then i will put the cories from the 20 gals in there for now...

Gonna be a busy week next week

Update - :)

My new 5 footer has arrived for the new cory home :hyper: - moved the 20 gals out the way for the time being with the growing bronze & albino younsters...they will go in the 4 footer eventually...

Here's how far i've got - tank up in situ, need to go shopping for sand & backing etc :)

very very nice Harlequins. I'm very jealous :hyper:

ps. I'm leaving this forum in favour of another ;) ... be nice to see you over there too at some point :)

sent you that pm, hope you got it :)

This is what it looked like after cleaning nearly 3 bags of very dirty argos playsand and backing on on Tuesday :)

Now all up and running :hyper:
Spent 6 hours yesterday moving the decor, fish and filters, adding plants etc etc... went bed at 1.30am

9am this morning tested water, spot on :good: i was worried about the filters, they'd been off for a few hours, plus i had to seed the new bigger ex1200 with media from the ex700...but all looks good at mo :)

Will take pic later when there's no daylight glare on the tank :)

I'm excited to see what you do with it. I myself had just purchased a few Panda cory's. They're SO adorable! :D

Thanks :)

Well i've just added 12 Cardinals and 6 lemon tetras, also got 3 peppered cories, but they're in the other tank
They've only been in there 30 mins after i acclimatised them and they're shoaling together happily
Here's a pic of tank - still some glare happening

Just uploading video of it so will put up when its ready :)
