Would corys prefer sand more so than gravel? I think sand is better for them, but not sure? Right now I have gravel substrate in one of my tanks with the corys and I think I might change the substrate over to sand, just for the corys? Is this a good idea?

Thanks guys!

Yep cory's will display much more natural behaviour if sand is in the tank for them to sift through, gravel can be a little harsh on there barbels(sp) and can often cause damage which then could possible get infected, sand looks better aswell :)

Thanks!

Yes, sand does look way better. This is just a little tank I threw together and just put gravel in because it was cheap and available to me at the time.

Looks like I will be doing a substrate change here in the next couple of weeks or so.

Thanks!

Yeah, I just wish I went sand first, as now I have to switch out the substrate... a little pain in the rear!

Oh well...

Thanks for the responses guys!
