I am going to purchase 6 of these fellas,

I was set on getting Juli, but the guy iwas talking to said they do not stock Julii mainly because they get tank bred Sterbai which are similarish, but more colourful.

What do think, anyone got some? How are they too keep?

Hi Sanj :)

I have a half dozen of them, myself, and two batches of their fry.

I'm very happy to have them. They cost a bit more than the other corys in my tanks, but IMHO, they were worth the extra expense. They are colorful little fish, compared to most of the other corys, yet they have no extra requirements for their care. :D

Since you will be getting six of them, do you plan to breed them?

well it would be nice if they did breed, but i wasnt specifically buying them for breeding, but i thought they liked to be in shoals and all the same species may look better.

Did you have to create special conditions to breed them? Will the brred in my densley planted Rena? i wouldnt expect to raise many fry if they did breed in there, but a few may survive? It is well planted.
