Hi

I have a shunk cory, his friend died.

I need to purchase 3 x shunk cory.

I am not sure if the cory is male or female?

I dont want the new cory to breed with each other of my current cory.

Any advice on how to avoid babies?

If the Corys breed, and they produce viable young, the other fish in your tank will remove the problem for you.

You won't have to worry about your skunk corys (C. arcuatus) spawning. While it is possible for them to spawn in a home aquarium, they are not very likely to do it.

Thanks. I can't find any shunk cory in my lfs. Any advice on another type of cory, which would get on well with my shunk cory?

I need one which wont breed, aint got the room for that to happen!!

Leucomelas aren't likely to breed in home aquariums, I like the look of mine .
