Corydoras wont stop dying

I have frogbit and I only add a small amount of liquid fertiliser the day after a water change. I regularly have to thin out the plants or it would totally cover the water surface and then try to climb out.

Oh thats not bad! The frogbit is super nice for the top. I also really like the water Sprite too because I like grassy or moss like plants due to the way and rate they grow! :)

Well it's not just the volume. The colour chart is assuming the yellow colour will be read by looking through a certain distance of coloured solution. Try and get a 5ml syringe or pipette, will be way easier, even when you have tubes with the line on it....

Also does anyone know what kind of plants these are?

I did have water sprite but I replaced it with frogbit. The reason was that again it tried to take over but I found it difficult to separate the plants to remove some. The 'leaves' got all twisted up together. Frogbit's just easier to separate. The downside with frogbit is those looooong roots that reach down to the substrate.

The stem plants look like anacharis.

So both wouldn't be a good option?

So clearly I'm not the best at decorating the tank which I wish I was because I see so many beautiful tanks. Does anyone have any websites they recommend to order from for decor or plants?

I can't help on sourcing plants since I'm on wrong side of the pond....but....I gave up on live planting cos I got massive pest snail infestations and my aquariums looked like a teenagers scruffy bedroom

We aren't all aquatic Picasso's so stop beating yourself up over the scaping, you'll get the hang of it eventually and if you don't, then still don't beat yourself up cos you are doing fine as you are and you're still new at this infuriating game :)

Are any of these high maintenance plants? At the moment I don't do fertilizer or c02 doses but my plants have been growing like crazy since I got them. They were only 4 small stems when I got them not they have like 6 sprouts on each which I have been trimming and replanting to make more!

I do really like the water Sprite as well as the frog bit

This has already been answered by others, but floating plants are the easiest to grow. The light is almost never a problem, the aerial advantage means the plants can take up CO2 from the air which is four times faster than from the water, and they are incredible sponges for ammonia/ammonium, often called "ammonia sinks." It is easy enough to cull them to keep whatever level you want. A liquid comprehensive fertilizer can sometimes help, it all depends.
