Considering three of these are already from a proven spawning group I just hope I get loads more eggs

Hi Paul. My first few spawnings were in the 15 to 20 range with a 30% hatch rate. Each successive spawning grew slightly in numbers with increased hatch rates. My last spawning was around 55 eggs, which I would consider a very large number, with my latest hatch rate at about 65%. The females from the first goup I obtained have grown very large as they are truly pampered. They are two of the largest Corys I have ever raised. I'm sure you'll find that they will spawn repeatedly and that the number of eggs will increase as they mature, with the likelihood of improved hatch rates to follow. The last batch of eggs started hatching at 6 days and were mostly all hatched by day 10. Hope this puts your mind at ease. - Frank

These are mature fish that I think have spawned before, so thats why I am wondering why there are so few - also, just checked them and they dont look too good to me...
