Corydoras Has Odd Growth! Help!

@TallTree01
Besides the infection, this Paleatus looks rather thin / poor. What are you feeding this little friend?
Looking at the fish I suspect it is algaewafers???
Corydoras are omnivores at the carnivorious side. They need must be fed meaty / protein quality food (not left overs aso)
Hope I am wrong, but if so there has to be another issue (worms).

Paleatus need to look like big chubby submarines !!!

He's literally spent only a week in the tank. Most cories aren't fed well as I understand in lfs?
I'm feeding wardleys shrimp pellets which are pretty good I think. He's probably still recovering from being semi starved at LFS I assume. He seems to to be taking longer than others. Probably because of his growth?

The rest look like submarines

Okay !!! Great. Hope this one is gonna make it. It's having some kind of issue that weakened it and made it vunerable for infections.

I regretfully inform to you that his condition has worsened. He has not ate today. The fungus seems smaller though so I think the melafix is working. He is acting quite lethargic presumably from hunger. He is slowly wasting away.

May our prayers be with him. :-(
If he doesn't get a miracle soon I fear he will die.

See if you can tempt him with some live food or frozen if you can't get live, bloodworms are usually
irresistible.
Hope he makes it poor little guy

Bless Him.
I would move onto an internal bacteria medication.
Fish can also lose weight when they have an internal infection. Which corys can be prone too.

The Cory, has moved on. May he rest in peace. :rip: :-(
Truly devastated after all he's been through. Let us hope he is happy where he is now.

Bless Him. I had panda corys and they were one of by favourite tropical fish so I do know
how you feel. As there so cute and adorable.
