Corydoras Behavior

So I got 2 Three Lined Corys to go with the 3 I already had & now they all seem to be chillin' out on the bottom. One will buzz around a little bit here & there but then they just sit on the bottom. Is this normal? I had the other 3 for about 2 weeks and they were pretty much always active.

if you recently got them then it is pretty much normal for them to do that, as they are probably just getting used to there home

Thanks. I just snuck up on the tank and they were all buzzing around just not as much as they used to. I just did a 1/3 water change so maybe that freaked them out a bit..................

They normally go bonkers in a new tank rather than cuddling together.
Or maybe they are finally "shoaling" but you've got one lazy cory and the rest just can't come up with a plan how to make the lazy one move

They'll be probably just fine tomorrow
Check your water stats just in case.

I have just one of my peppered ones that's a bit lazy, the rest are really active. I hoped that increasing the numbers would bring this odd one out of hiding but it's not changed anything yet. Mine tend to huddle together when they are resting then come back to life once they've re-charged. I wouldn't worry too much

My black sail cories used to fly about when they were babies but now they're fully grown they're chubby and laaaaazy. Can't blame them!

Thanks everyone. I just wanted to make sure they weren't stressed. They shouldn't be, it's the most peaceful community tank.

haha, my cores are so funny XD, there all lazy chilling together i have 15 so there usually in two packs some chill under my rock cave some between my twisted vellas under my wood , there funny every now and then they come out to scourge for food and some go mental up side of tank wonderful to watch but they are scared of me walking up to the tank instantly zoom to the back of the tank, my angel fish love this i guess they find it funny before they come to me , if i stay still long enough my cory's come back out they also come out for food really nice fish love them
