mmmm i disagree the hi fin shark i had grew like no bodies buisiness, i had from 3inches and inside of 5 months it had got to 14 inch and carried on......

Lovely fish but considering that he ate a 9inch giraffe catfish i wouldnt say it was safe to keep it with a cory :p

wait thats weird... my assistant didn't show replies to this thread... so the hi fin sharks eat other fishes too ?? hmm and the stuff in the net keep saying that it is peacefull :p haha weird

Yeah it is a fairly peacefull fish, liablke to be bullied by anything aggressive, and as they succumb to stress easilly they tend to catch ich or velvet as a result of their beatings. Also their eyes seem pront to being bit/gnawed at by other fish as my old pangasious will testify (nicknamed ol' one eye).
Though they do tend to adopt slightly more vegetarian dietary habits as they get older they will still eat any fish small enough (or stupid enough) that gets in its path when its feeding.........poor little giraffe.....
