Corydora Stuck In Hole

Hi jackiejo :)

I'm so glad you got him out of there.

If he is swimming alright he should be OK. The only thing you probably will have to do is keep an eye on the scrapes until they have healed. While there are open wounds there is always a chance of fungus setting in, but if your water is clean and fresh, the risk will be minimized. :D

This happened to one of my cory's. He got stuck in a hole in the wood that had been covered up by a moss ball that had floated on top of it.

We managed to prise him out with the thin end of a chopstick and he popped out like a little cork. He was a bit shocked after his ordeal but he is fine now.

Corydora update!...

He's been looking pretty for sorry for himself the last couple of days and had a red wound on his head, but today it seems to have healed and his top fin is no longer clamped. So i think it's now safe to say that he'll be fine :) Hooray :) I bought him some little Corydora pals which seems to have cheered him up too!

aw bless him , feel so sorry for him in that rock , poor lil guy , he is lucky to have responsible caring owers like you who have done loads to rescue him , well done :) and so happy for you all that he is out and healthy :)

Glad he is ok.
I am now thinking I need to remove one of my ornaments. Some of the holes could pose the same problem for me. I just never thought of them getting stuck.
