Cory With Sore Side

I don't think that your cory had Septacemia (no bloody streaks in fins) or Dermocystidium (no nodules or breaks in the skin).

What I think you had was either an ectoparasite problem, doubtfull as it has improved or a slight bacterial infection, which the corys immune system has/is dealing with.

I have seen these red marks on albino corys (on stock, when I worked in lfs,) and with the aid of melafix they totally cleared up in 7 days.

Duhhhh the mark was on its side, not his cheeks/gills.

I think it's cuz hes been flicking. Which ain't good.

Sounds like he's dealing with whatever it was anyway- good news!

And I'm beginning to feel a bit more hopeful about mine, too; again, no sign of red streaking of fins or listlessness.
