Cory Types

What size tank are the going in? Depending on the size of the tank, I always reccomend the Bronze and Albino C. Aeneus. They are a hardy and very playful species of cory. I also like the C. Trilineatus. It really depends on how big the tank is and what the tank mates are.

just found a pic of the Trilineatus. very nice indeed. added them to my list for my next order of corys :)

i can get them for £5.15 each XLG :)

O yeah, and i currently have..

10 Albino in a breeding tank ( 4 spawns in the past week and they only been together a week !!)
9 Peppers in a breeding tank ( with an additional 6 juvis in my grow out tank. not bad from 10 eggs i managed to get before the buggers ate them all !)
2 Adolifi
3 Sterbai
6 Bronze
2 Panda
2 Rabauti

Thanks for all the posts so far :good:

By the looks of it Corydoras aeneus are the most popular, I might get some of these little guys. I also saw the pic of the Corydoras trilineatus on scotcat, really pretty fish  I think I might hunt around my lfs to see if any sell them.

BTW, My Harlequins are always in shoal, thats one of the reason why I would still include them in a S. American tank I want, they look so nice. B)

If you are looking for more pictures of C. Trilineatus, I posted some pictures of mine the other day:

There is only one LFS around that has them and I bought the 6 they had over 5 months ago. I lost one in the first week, so I still have 5 now. Very nice cory :good:

I have one store in my area that always stocks Trilineatus's. luckily it is the best LFS in the area, never had a problem with their fish, their tanks are actually natural (not bare) they take great care of them too. and they have all the fish that I'm looking for! really a great store.

Its where I got my 6 Trilineatus's, they are awesome fish!

I like pandas (if you have a mature tank) but personally i am going to get c. trilineatus once my tank has finished its cycle, theyve always been my favourite and are in 2 of my lfs'
