Glad it’s looking better. Clean water can never hurt - perform a few water changes. Maybe it got rattled, and was just in shock.

Corydoras can poison themselves when stressed. They are able to release toxic venom from behind their gills. Not sure if the symptoms include fast breathing. And I expect they make a full recovery afterwards (if it doesn't kill them of course!)

Just caught the little squirt looking for food. I can't believe it, unbelievable! The little guy is practically dead and the first thing he does is go muck around looking for food. Geez luiz.

I ended up losing him. He wasn't moving or breathing and then had his last death throes. R.I.P.
I hope flushing is ok because I din't know what else to do.
Ah man sorry dude

Yea, it's a real drag. Thought it was going to pull through but it just kept getting worse. At one time it looked like it was breathing once every 10 seconds. :(

Ah man, I'm sorry @HoldenOn :( :rip:

For future reference, either bury or bin a dead fish in future, rather than flushing. We don't want to risk aquarium pathogens making their way back into main waterways, so best to avoid flushing.
