Cory Id Please ? Bit Confused

Need some definate id's please if someone could help

not a clue what this is - i got it from seanie in a bag of corys - was confused by the peachy/orange colour on the edge of the fins

purchased these as confirmed leopard corys from maidenhead aquatic just checking they are
just 2 different angle with and without flash

the C. trilineatus are known as leopards or juliis arent they ? sorry getting all confused lol

Yes. They are commonly referred to as Leopard Corys, "False" julii Corys and Three-lined Corys. - Frank

The trilineatus have their description right in their name Pippoodle. Tri means three and lineatus means lines. If you look at them they have 3 lines of dots running along their sides. They are called false julii because they were sold as if they were real julii for quite some time, they are similar in appearance to a real julii. I have never seen them called leopards but I never know what to expect from pet shops naming their fish.

From what I've seen here, I think the common name of leopard cory is more a UK thing than US. They are more likely to be sold as juliis here.
