Hi everyone, this morning when i went for daily check on fishes I found one of my Cories to be very very rounded belly. I uploaded pictures so you can see.
Is the first time I handle Cories so I don’t really know if this is dropsy, constipation or maybe she is just eggy?
Just yesterday I added another Cory I bought, so I have 4 of them (not sure the species thought they sold them as Julii) and I have also 4 Panda Cories.
Any advice? She stays at the bottom of the tank moving around

Hi, and welcome to the forum! :hi:

Hmm....do you see a sort of big red spot near the back of the fish?

Also, was the Cory like this yesterday?

No red spots, yesterday Cory was fine...it’s like happened overnight :(
I upload a better pic, you can also see its dorsal fin is a bit clamped.
Now Cory is playing and swimming with the others...doesn’t look like something else is wrong a part of this new shape

As long as the fish is feeding and does normal poop then it is fine and probably eggs. But if the fish stops eating, then it's an internal bacterial infection.

And what can I do if it turns out is bacterial infection?

Is it not worthy to try a fish treatment for internal bacterial infection?

Not normally. If the fish balloon up overnight and stop eating, then they have suffered major organ failure and are dead.

If the fish balloons up but continues to eat and swim around normally, then treat it.
