I just found four of my Cory fry dead. They all had varying degrees of "fuziness" on them. They were fine seven hours ago. Since they're fuzzy, I'm guessing that it's a fungus. None of the live ones seem to have any fuzz on 'em, from what I can tell.

What can I use to treat them? Can I use "regular" fungus meds, just at half the dose? Is there something else I can use?

Wal-Mart closes in an hour, and I could run over there and grab something tonight, if need be.

Edit: The fry are about a week old. They're getting fed Hikari First Bites. They get a partial water change every day. There's an airstone in their tank, but no filter yet.

Thanks.

-_- sorry dont know about the meds either but i think good water quality is a must. have you tested the water recently. a sponge filter would be a good form of filtration.

I've been doing water changes every day. Last night I did a larger than usual water change. Getting a sponge filter in there is on the list of things to do today.

They seem to be fine this morning - didn't find any more dead :)

Thanks!

You may have to search for the directions but I think its like 5 drops of 10%methalyn blue per 10 gallons to keep the fungus away. Not sure if thats the right directions but when I was saving my angel fish eggs thats what I used.
