Hello. the fin on the top of panda cory's body seems to be "missing" the top part...but it does not seem like rotting compared to what i have seen from other fishes. It seems to be a very clean cut, but the strange thing is that the "support" part of the fin is still there..( i hope u guys understand what i'm trying to say here, cuz i dun know how to put it any better :( ) Now the cory seems to be lacking energy, and its always tilting on its side.......what can i do? plz help!! i really need help fast :( :( :( :( :( Also, he has been stuck under an artificial plant today...could this be causing its illness? but if this is the reason, then how come part of his fin seems to be missing?
i hope u guys can understand my little diagram...as u can see, i'm not good at drawing at all...but i hope u guys can understand wut i'm trying to say about his fin :(

In my opinion its been nipped by something, the support part is cartilage, so that would still be there,I dont think you have much cause for concern the fin will grow back eventually in the meantime keep your eye on him,its probably tilting because of the damaged fin ..... of course this only applies if there are other fish in the tank :)

thanks for your help...but the panda cory died last nite :-( :-( i don't know what was wrong w/him....his color has gone to a very pale white b4 he died.....does anyone of u might know the cause? thanks

I'm sorry for your loss cutie_dinokun :rip: The same thing happened to my panda cory. I think it was fin rot.

Was there high nitrates in the tank cause my cories do not like it when the nitrates get over 25. They get very lazy and have no energy and start to fade as well. Might be worth checking just to confirm. :)
