I think my cories are trying to lay eggs, they have laid a couple on the glass but they quickly get eaten by the zebra danios. Has anyone got any suggestions on how i can stop them? I have a coldwater tank with a goldfish and another 6-7 inch goldfish which could keep them for a bit?

Get a breeder net to put the eggs in. Hang it in the parents' tank near an upward water movement. If need be add an air stone under the net. Be prepared to feed the fry after they are a few days old. Roll, pick, or scrape the eggs off into the net. Is there a male Cory dancing with her?

Your goldfish would be quite grateful for the treat if you decide to go that way. :) Also the water temp change would be detrimental. You would have better luck with the net.
