I recently posted about increasing my shoal, and the satisfaction I gained from doing so. Well, there was a bit of drama. One of my Cories became entirely overwhelmed and upset by her new roomies. She lost all of her color, and became very lethargic. This was highly upsetting to me, I felt terrible. I truly thought she was going to die. Things seemed very touch and go for awhile. However, I am happy to report she is back into the swing of things and thriving just fine! :) I couldn't be happier!

i had the same problem, but i am glad she made it, mine wernt so lucky

I'm sorry, but it wasn't your fault. These types of things cannot be predicted. Cory Cats are supposed to be happier in a larger shoal!

I just wondered how long it took to get the colour back, in the picture of my masked cory's you can see the second one from the right has lost some of his colour, I'm a bit worried!

a few days and more than a few water changes! don't fret too much, and be patient! I hope it works out for you! :)

I noticed the same with my lonely Albino Cory...I added three Peppereds and two albinos and he/she didn't want to know them and kind of went into depression  It's okay now though.
