I get my Panda’s for 3.25/ each. So 10 would be $32.50. Of course, I pay $12 for shipping too.

I don't buy the expensive European or American brand aquariums.

I bought a local brand Ocean Free.
For a 40 gallons, it's SGD 55 or USD 40.
for a 30 gallons, it's SGD 40 or USD 30.( round up).
Also, I guess the shops here sell at low profit margins.
That's how I can get a lower price.
A contractor from a neighbouring country Malaysia quoted me SGD 90 (USD 65) for a 40 gallons tank (he customed built) inclusive of delivery which is consider cheap.

I bought cheaper tanks because if I have give up my hobby in the future(in case of my busy schedules), then it won't be a big loss to me.

I had five Pandas, was planning on 7 or even more but never got around to it because of many other expenses. Over time (16 months) I have lost 3 about 4 months apart they lost barbels (whiskers). About 2 to 3 months without barbels doing fine then I found them dead ( seemed like overnight ) It's sad but something to keep an eye on. Don't want to change my gravel yet ( money and time issues ).
Don't be discouraged Cory's in a group are awesome keep your bottom clean and you should be fine. Enjoy the best catfish with personality in my opinion
