Hi people,

My corys appeared to have just laid eggs and i actually have a seperate fry tank ready for anything due to me having multiple tanks. only problem is, there are already some cory fry in the fry tank, only around 7 or 8, i took them in from my brother only yesterday haha. So my question is, will the cory fry eat the eggs im about to put in? they are still tiny by the way, less than 1cm for sure. you can barely make them out.

any help would be much appreciated.

I’m pretty sure they won’t. May I please see a picture of the eggs? :)

They probably will if they are big enough. You could put the eggs into a net breeder in the fry tank. Once the new fry are about a week old the bigger fry should recognise them as not being food.

Cory’s do eat their own eggs, right?

You said, once that indicates that before once , they are not safe. :)
