Ok im thinking i may breed corys, initally bronzes as they are spawning all the time. i also have pygmy cories who have just started spawning, and some three lines which are showing the signs :hey:

i have a 60l which currently houses the betta, but he'll be moving to a smaller tank. also have a 90l, and the 180l where the corys are currently.

So, i was wondering what the going rate is for these corys?
Also, where do i start? Could i put the corys into the betta tank when theyre going nuts and egg laying, and remove them afterwards, and just let them grow up in the betta tank? or would that not work?

Hmmm.. differs considerable from place to place, bronze are so readily available that selling them in the mass amount needed may be harder than actually trying to raise them lol. Bronze tend to be mass egg layers and when i used to breed mine had 200-300 eggs every couple of weeks with a good 80% survival rate making me very overrun at times.

Pygmy's sell usually quite well, if you consider the posted option, im sure they will sell pretty well, price wise again differs, i can get them varieties round here for £1.25- £1.85 close to adults, some other will say they are £3-£4 each in there area.

3 lines, will be like pygmy's, will sell quite well but again if postage is offered it gives a far wider customer base. Price wise again very much like above, sell round here for as little as £1.95 other have said £4-5 a fish.

Quite a viable option and done by quite alot of breeders including me in the past. Moving the pair/threesome into a tank to spawn and moving them back over once finished does work and ive had good results doing so. The only problem you have is always having that tank cycled so keeping fish in and moving them out as and when it's needed to put the spawning cory's in. Does get a pain after a while and hence the reason i just kept small groups in species tanks and then moving eggs to either an egg tumbler or purpose fry trap.

Hope that was a little helpful lol, each person will have there different opinions and different methods to either spawning or growing fry out, the best option is try and see if it works for you. If not try something else untill you are fully comfortable with it working to the best of it's ability :).
