Ok i am thinking that i want to get like 12 cories for my 29-30 gl. tank!
that would be sosoooo cool! do u think there will be a chance of them breeding?

other fish: now guppies later a few goldfish

That would make an awesome display :thumbs: Go for it, they probably would breed :D As for Goldfish, I would say no, they can't be kept with tropical fish and would have a greatly shortened lifespan when kept in tropical temperatures. On top of that they are messy and would quickly make the water filthy as well :no:

If you are looking for a cory that will breed easily for you, and will be able to live with goldfish, the C. paleatus (Peppered Cory) is the one for you. It will do well at 75 degrees, and also at the cooler temperatures that goldfish need. :D

Dwarfs is right. Goldfish are nice fish in their own right, but do not do well mixed with tropicals.
