Its been three weeks and so today I moved the cories out of the quarantine tank and into the main tank. I watched carefully, because I didn't know how Flame (betta) would react. I did some gardening and moved objects around first so the tank would be different.
THe two scooted to different parts of the tank. A few minutes later, Flame spotted one, went and flared at him. Cory ignored him. When the cory moved though, Flame shot after him. The cory swam up into the CO2 ladder and got stuck! Yikes!
I carefully pulled it away from the glass, and the cory swam out. I put the ladder back and pushed it down into the gravel a bit. The only place a fish could get behind is from the bottom of the ladder so I think its safe now.
The cory sat on the bottom and puffed for a bit and then swam off. It took about 15 minutes for the two to find each other, but now they are glued together. They are so cute and active, a real joy to watch.
I am now going to dry off and divide the q-tank into three so I can put Flame and two other bettas in it. I think all other fish will thank me for taking Flame out.

Hi DogFish :)

I'm glad your pandas are doing well with Flame.

Whatever you do, please never separate them when you divide the tank for the bettas. They would be just too sad. :-(
